Responsibilities

• Communicates patient care updates to the interdisciplinary team and documents treatments.
• Assesses patients and selects appropriate respiratory therapies and ventilator settings.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and ABG results.
• Manages ventilator care and responds to emergency and critical care situations.
• Provides patient education and participates in unit huddles and safety initiatives.
