Responsibilities

• Communicates with nurses on patient care issues, ventilator changes and ABG results.
• Documents treatments and medications in EMR and related records.
• Manages ventilator settings and interprets ABG results to guide care.
• Provides patient education and supports respiratory therapy across units.
• Gives shift reports at bedside when possible.
