Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across neonate to geriatric populations, participate in interprofessional rounds, and respond to emergencies. You will document treatments and communicate with nurses, physicians, and supervisors to ensure safe, effective therapy.

The role requires Georgia licensure, an Associate degree, and registry completion; one year of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in Georgia.
• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Successful completion of the registry examination.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nurses on patient care issues, ventilator changes, and ABG results.
• Document treatments and medications delivered in EMR and patient records.
• Verifies all new start orders and ABG orders.
• Responsible for complete documentation in the medical record.
