Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine and critical care, performing diagnostics and therapies and managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• NBRC-RRT: Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• RRT/RCP-State: Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner license.
• Associate Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and airway assessment.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airway support including invasive/noninvasive systems.
• Educate patients and families; support care team and physicians.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection-prevention standards.
