St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our dedicated care team.

You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage ventilation settings, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality respiratory care. Qualifications

Current NBRC-RRT credential required.
State licensure as Respiratory Therapist required.
ACLS and BCLS must be completed within stated timelines.
Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients through diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory interventions.
Manage ventilation with invasive and noninvasive modalities across care settings.
Educate patients and families, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff.
Maintain and sterilize respiratory equipment, ensuring readiness and infection prevention.
Respond promptly to clinical changes and emergencies to stabilize patients.
