Job summary

St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across emergency, critical care, and acute settings.

You will work with a collaborative team, manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, educate patients and families, ensure equipment readiness, and participate in ongoing professional growth with mentorship from RT leaders.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-RRT: Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• RRT/RCP-State: Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner licensure.
• Associate Degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, airway clearance, and related treatments.
• Manage ventilation and airway support across care settings.
• Educate patients/families and support the care team as a clinical resource.
• Maintain and sanitize equipment and ensure safety and infection prevention.
