Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• Vocational School Graduate

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and interpret breath sounds
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive/noninvasive modes and monitor responses
• Educate patients and families, act as a clinical resource, and support the care team
• Maintain and sanitize equipment, ensure readiness, and follow infection-prevention standards
