Ochsner Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for patients from neonatal to geriatric. The role includes performing ABG analyses, delivering therapy, and educating patients and staff in a hospital setting.

Candidates must hold a current Respiratory Therapist license in the practice state, NBRC RRT, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. Strong data entry, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Competenze

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Must be licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice; NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS from American Heart Association; ACLS within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures per policy.
• Review and document clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures (e.g., ABGs, EKGs).
• Provide age-appropriate care considering patient population.
