Job summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostics, and ventilation support for neonatal to geriatric patients. You will perform therapies, monitor and document patient data, and educate patients and co-workers on treatments.

The role requires hospital experience and a valid state license. Required: Associate's Degree; NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist; BLS; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures per policy.
• Review and document clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and staff on procedures and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures.
• Provide age-appropriate care across neonatal to geriatric populations.
