Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory care from AMA accredited program.
• CRT NBRC certification required.
• BLS required.
• ACLS within one year of hire.
• NRP within one year of hire.
• PALS within one year of hire.
• Registry eligibility; acute experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related healthcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and document findings per protocol.
• Perform respiratory therapy treatments and manage equipment.
• Monitor ventilators, oxygen, humidity, and airway management.
• Communicate with team and review orders; improve workflows.
• Respond to CPR and support emergency procedures.
