Under the direction of the medical and cardiopulmonary directors, the RCP II performs respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, considering age and specific patient needs. In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned as Lead RCP, responsible for the section or department during their shift.
