Why Powerback?
Under general supervision and medical direction, performs respiratory care related procedures. Exercises considerable judgment in accordance with physician's treatment plan and within departmental policies and procedures. The scope of practice includes:
Assesses residents' condition, administers prescribed therapy and aerosolized medications, observes and records progress and responses, including adverse reactions. Provides in-service training to residents, families, and staff. The resident population is primarily adult and geriatric. Utilizes knowledge of growth and development principles to meet residents' physical and psychological needs. Involves appropriate parties in assessment and care planning. Initiates, monitors, and maintains life support systems, manages airway care, and troubleshoots mechanical ventilators. Participates in CPR procedures and performs assessment using various diagnostic tools to formulate care plans. Checks physician's orders for completeness, observes and charts vital signs and responses, and documents all care services. Maintains equipment and supplies, assists in emergency procedures, and ensures proper documentation. Instructs residents and families on respiratory procedures, participates in educational programs, interdisciplinary rounds, and quality assurance activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
