Job summary

Mercy seeks a Respiratory Therapy supervisor to lead the Respiratory staff in delivering safe, high-quality care. You will oversee operations, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory practices while mentoring staff.

The role requires a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner with 5+ years’ experience, RRT certs, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care.
• Current RCP license in the practice state.
• Five or more years of experience.
• RB; NBRC certification as RRT; may substitute with 10 years leadership and CRT.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the Respiratory staff to ensure safety and quality.
• Assists in planning, implementation and evaluation of operations and technology.
• Provides direct respiratory care; monitors patient conditions.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team with open communication.
• Serves as a clinical resource for coworkers, patients and visitors.
• Adheres to Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
