Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Supervisor to lead the Respiratory staff in delivering safe, high-quality care in collaboration with the healthcare team. You will supervise staff, develop and implement operations, and ensure adherence to policies and guidelines.

The role requires an accredited degree in Respiratory Care, current RCP license in Ohio, and RRT with NBRC certification plus 5+ years of experience; leadership strongly preferred. ACLS/NRP/PALS may be needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care.
• Current license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the state of practice.
• Five or more years of experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC; BLS (may obtain upon hire).
• May substitute RRT with 10 years of leadership experience and CRT NBRC.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Respiratory staff to deliver safe, quality care.
• Plans and evaluates operations, technique, and technology.
• Provides direct patient care and monitors patient conditions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team and serves as clinical resource.
• Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and Mercy Service Standards.
