Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the practicing state.
• Current BLS (required), ACLS (preferred).
• Finger Print Clearance and TB test within 1 year.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures as ordered; interpret orders and assess resident needs.
• Administer therapies including mechanical ventilation, oxygen monitoring, and bronchodilator administration.
• Set up and manage medical gases, humidification, and airway management in home care settings.
• Coordinate with nursing leadership on care plans, case management, and quality improvement.
• Develop discharge plans and track follow-up on respiratory equipment maintenance.
