Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, assist with PAP equipment setup, and ensure efficient service while maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME, and a valid driver's license. The role involves travel within the service area and occasional non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction and service for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP equipment and masks with patient instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate issues when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and assist with documentation and billing paperwork.
