AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care across home, office, and clinical environments, following all policies and procedures. You will train new hires, troubleshoot PAP equipment, and ensure accurate paperwork and patient confidentiality.

You will set up PAP devices, conduct follow-ups, promote services, and maintain knowledge of current respiratory programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls and visits to ensure optimal care outcomes; escalate if urgent needs arise.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Report equipment hazards and product incidents per company policies.
• Maintain knowledge of current Respiratory Programs and HME products.
