Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• Two years of Respiratory Care experience required.
• Current state Respiratory Care license required; NBRC credentialing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including oxygen, aerosol therapy and ventilator care.
• Serve as preceptor to new staff or students.
• Assess patient status and adjust therapies based on physician orders and patient response.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment and supplies.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and home care when applicable.
