Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Respiratory Liaison to coordinate patient care from referral to delivery and ongoing support. You will process orders, obtain authorizations, and ensure accurate documentation while serving as the main contact for patients and referral partners.

The role emphasizes education on equipment use, adherence, and insurance details, and requires building strong relationships with providers to drive service excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service, healthcare, office, patient support, or referral management.
• Experience in healthcare, medical equipment, patient services, or provider-facing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient journey from referral through order fulfillment, equipment delivery, education, and ongoing support.
• Process patient orders and ensure required documentation and insurance are obtained accurately and timely.
• Serve as primary contact for patients, referral sources, providers, and internal teams; respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
• Manage inbound/outbound patient and referral communications to support service excellence.
• Educate patients on equipment use, therapy adherence, safety practices, and insurance requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, provider offices, and health partners.
• Partner with sales and operations to improve referral conversion, patient satisfaction, and market performance.
• Identify opportunities to drive market growth through relationship development and service excellence.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company, payer, and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality, operational, and growth initiatives.
