Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support patient care at home and in clinical settings. You will instruct patients and caregivers on equipment use, perform routine respiratory assessments, and maintain detailed patient records to support ongoing care plans.

The role requires NBRC certification, a valid RCP license, and CPR; travel to patient homes is required. This is a full-time, daytime position with benefits and on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for respiratory therapy.
• NBRC registration.
• Current RCP license in applicable states.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists in treatment and management of patients with clinical needs.
• Instructs patients/caregivers on proper use of equipment and respiratory care procedures.
• Performs assessments and tests (pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, vital signs).
• Maintains patient records and care plans; documents follow-up information.
• May perform on-call duties and assist with scheduling as needed.
