Job summary

Great River Health Systems is seeking a Respiratory Care Leader to oversee staff at WB and FM campuses. You will supervise daily operations, ensure quality patient care, manage staffing and budgets, and collaborate with leadership to meet department goals.

The role requires supervision experience, a licensed Respiratory Therapist with AMA accreditation, and a strong foundation in critical care practices. Expect multi-site coordination and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist program.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent within 3 years.
  • 1-3 years of respiratory care experience; 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of respiratory care modalities, budgeting, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities for staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee department workflow and maintain clinical standards.
  • Direct supervision of staff; prepare schedules and conduct clinical reviews.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient, timely services.
  • Monitor productivity and quality metrics; ensure compliant documentation.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluations; support governance.
