Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Care operations leader. You will oversee daily respiratory department operations under medical direction and support the Director in QA program development and adherence to current practice standards.

Responsibilities include staff selection/orientation, scheduling, policy updates, and ensuring adequate supplies for safe testing and patient care.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills for Respiratory Therapist duties.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work within a budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Care under medical direction.
• Collaborates to develop and implement a Quality Assurance Program and ensure testing meets current standards.
• Oversees staffing: selection, orientation, scheduling; ensures policy reflects current practice.
• Ensures department has adequate supplies and equipment.
