Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how our data is defined, shared, and reused across the Business Group and HDR. This leadership role makes data simpler, more useful, and more connected to how we do business today and in the future.

You will align data practices across Business Classes and Practices, promote data fluency, and collaborate with HDR Data Operations and Technology leaders to deliver reliable insights that support analytics, automation, and informed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading teams.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
• Experience in power, industrial and/or waste sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact with SME input from Business Classes and Practices.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key terms with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and expected use.
• Promote responsible use of technical data, including access, data quality, best practice for format, and reuse.
• Support governance of externally sourced datasets (access, approvals, inventory awareness, storage, and lifecycle considerations).
• Lead a RBG SME network to align practices and share lessons learned across our business classes and practices.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG.
• Collaborate with BG Data Stewards, BG and Enterprise Data Science Teams, and Enterprise Data Operations staff.
