Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic-minded Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how our data is defined, used, and reused across a Business Group and HDR.

This leadership role is about making data simpler, more useful, and more connected to the way we do business, enabling better decisions, reuse, and delivery excellence across projects. You will partner with HDR Data Operations and the Technology Leadership Team to guide governance, quality, and cross‑org alignment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic leadership focused on data and change management.
• 15+ years delivering diverse data-focused solutions.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction.
• Power/industrial/waste sector experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and use.
• Promote consistent, responsible use of technical data.
• Govern externally sourced datasets (access, approvals, lifecycle).
• Lead a RBG SME network with Data Operations collaboration.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG.
• Collaborate with BG Data Stewards, Data Science teams, and Ops staff.
