Job summary

HDR is seeking a strategic-minded Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how our data is defined, used, and reused across the Business Group and HDR. This role aims to make data simpler, more useful, and more connected to how we do business today and in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years of strategic leadership experience in data and change management.
• 15+ years delivering diverse data-focused solutions across industries.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction; power/industrial/waste is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise.
• Develop and maintain specific data glossary(es) with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and use.
• Promote responsible use of technical data, including access and quality.
• Govern externally sourced datasets and lifecycle considerations.
• Help lead a RBG SME network with Enterprise Data Operations.
• Promote data fluency across the RBG.
• Collaborate with BG Data Stewards and Enterprise Data teams.
