Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to define, share, and reuse data across the Business Group and HDR. This leadership role focuses on making data simple, useful, and connected to how HDR does business today and in the future.

The position reports to the Resources Business Group Technology Director with cross-functional collaboration across HDR Data Operations and the Technology Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic leadership focused on growing, developing, and leading teams in change management and business data.
• 15+ years of experience providing diverse data-focused solutions and services to an organization and the industry.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
• Experience in power, industrial and/or waste sectors is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, data science, business, computer science, or related discipline or equivalent related experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the RBG data point of contact and leverage SME expertise from our Business Classes and Practices.
• Develop and maintain data glossaries for key engineering and technical terms with business context.
• Build alignment and consensus around data processes, priority, and expected use.
• Promote responsible use of technical data including access, data quality, formatting, and reuse.
• Govern externally sourced datasets and coordinate with HDR Data Operations to align practices.
