Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resources Business Group Data Steward to shape how data is defined, shared, and reused across HDR's Business Group and Practices. This leadership role will make data simpler, more useful, and better connected to how HDR does business today and in the future.

You will define data glossary terms, drive data process alignment, and enable smarter decisions across projects, teams, and time, reporting to the Technology Director with SME collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of strategic leadership focused on change management and business data.
• Experience providing data-focused solutions to large organizations.
• Background in architecture, engineering, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern data glossary(s) for key engineering terms with business context.
• Build alignment around data processes, priority, and use across teams.
• Promote responsible data access, quality, and reuse.
• Govern externally sourced datasets and coordinate with data operations.
• Lead a network of SME data stewards across business classes and practices.
• Promote data fluency and collaboration with other data teams.
