Position Summary

The CLAS IT Resource Technician’s scope of responsibilities ranges from training, equipment setup, and basic troubleshooting as assigned by the Department of CLAS IT.

Responsibilities

• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Conduct individual training sessions.
• Maintain websites.
• Quality control of CLAS computer labs.
• Assist with hardware assemblies.
• Track inventory.
• Move and deliver equipment.
• Complete other special projects as assigned.

Requirements

No technical experience is required. Student workers will receive training from CLAS IT staff.

Physical Demands

• Able to travel with a laptop.
• Able to lift 20 lbs.

Compensation

Wage Rate: $13.00 per hour.
