Flexible Schedule.

This position requires on‑site attendance at the UCL facility in Research Park. Shift selection is flexible within the constraints of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. There may be infrequent opportunities to support evening and Saturday events.

Job Summary

University Connected Learning ( UCL ) is seeking a Computer Technician to configure, deploy, and maintain computers, AV, and communications technologies used in staff, classroom, and student lab environments. Included technologies are personal computers, mobile devices, data projectors, video and audio devices, Windows and Mac operating systems and software. Responsibilities include end user support, hardware service, installations of OS and applications, workspace preparation, and asset management.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

An associate’s degree in a computer related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted with two years of related work experience), and two years of applicable experience are required. Effective communications and computer skills are required.

Preferences

Familiarity with system imaging and software deployment tools is favorable. Some cross platform experience with both Windows and Mac is favorable.
