Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Resource Registered Nurse to float to Wake's facilities within designated zones. The role requires nursing licensure, a BSN preferred, and 1–2 years of nursing experience. Expect 36 hours weekly with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and full benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include applying evidence-based practices, coordinating with care teams, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation while prioritizing patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in applicable state(s).
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures timely EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols; supports delegated tasks to team members.
• Maintains professional development and adheres to ANA Code of Ethics.
