Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake-based Resource Team seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time clinical care across zones. You will apply evidence-based practices, participate in governance and quality initiatives, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

The role requires nursing licensure in the state, graduation from an approved nursing program, and BLS. Expect duties including patient assessment, care planning, and documentation in EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications per clinical protocols and may float as needed.
• Demonstrates communication, teamwork, and professional development.
