Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for the Resource Team, Zone 6. The role requires floating to facilities including CMC, Mercy, Lake Norman, University, Cabarrus, and Stanly.

This full-time, 36-hour-per-week position offers benefits eligibility and the opportunity to impact patient care through evidence-based practice, nursing process, and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN license and license to practice in relevant state(s).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications based on specialty may be required.
• Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in coordination with the care team.
• Promote safety culture and maintain high standards of patient care.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and timely updates.
