Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to float within Wake’s Resource Team across assigned zones. This full-time role requires adapting to multiple facilities and maintaining high standards of care in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with diverse teams, apply evidence-based practices, and participate in ongoing professional development while upholding safety and quality initiatives. Preference for BSN, RN licensure in NC, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Current RN license valid in the state where practicing.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care; engages patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and collaborates with team; ensures appropriate delegation to NPs, LPNs, and aides.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
