Job summary

Advocate Health in Wake Forest area is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for Zone 10 of the Wake Resource Team. The nurse will float to Baptist, Wilkes, Hugh Chatham, and Alleghany facilities, delivering evidence-based care across units.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure with BLS; a BSN is preferred. The 36-hour work week offers full benefits and opportunities for professional development within a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• RN with active license and BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; RN license must be valid in state(s) of practice.
• Experience in clinical nursing and telehealth competency may be required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the care team.
• Maintains patient safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Communicates effectively and delegates appropriately to staff.
• Completes required education and maintains certifications.
• Floats to different units within the service area as needed.
• Adheres to ANA Ethics and delivers unbiased patient care.
• Demonstrates growth and life-span relevant knowledge.
