Job summary

HHMI is seeking a Resource Project Manager to turn a stack of open requests into an orderly, on-time production line. The hybrid role requires coordinating with content teams and vendors, maintaining Jira/Trello boards, and guiding publications from draft to publication.

You will oversee copyediting, formatting, accessibility tagging, and translations, ensuring publication guidelines are met while keeping documentation current across Confluence, SharePoint, and Google Drive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required with relevant experience.
• Experience managing workflows and using PM tools is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize amid a busy queue.
• Ability to coordinate with writers, designers, and vendors across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and manage resource workflows from creation to publication.
• Oversee copyediting, formatting, and accessibility tagging.
• Coordinate translation from English to Spanish and prioritize work.
• Maintain team docs in Confluence and organize files in SharePoint/Google Drive.
• Triage production requests and track priority, scope, and status.
• Monitor Jira and Trello to keep status accurate and build timelines.
• Explore automation options, including AI tools, to speed up tasks.
