Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Resource Coordinator to join our team in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on coordinating field service resources, scheduling, and meeting customer requirements.

You will use Salesforce for planning, update schedules, manage time entries, and communicate with sales, engineering, and customers. A minimum of three years in a coordinating role is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience with customer service, scheduling, planning, or project coordination in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for appropriate resource planning of field service employees within Salesforce.
• Review Salesforce time entry and manage unassigned time; assign time to jobs when received.
• Update job schedule due to customer changes, emergency work, and schedule changes.
• Schedule warranty, emergency, and productive jobs.
• Obtain necessary test equipment and materials based on job requirements.
• Ensure District Operations Center and/or Eaton employees on-site meet customer entrance requirements, including trainings, background checks, drug screenings.
• Field emergency customer calls to gather critical information and pass it on for action.
• Provide clear project details and customer expectations on work to be performed.
• Complete work order requirements and update when orders can be invoiced.
• Participate in backlog meeting reviews.
• Maintain strong communication with sales engineers, Sales, and customers.
• Handle administrative tasks of District Operations Center – shipping/receiving, ordering test equipment or materials needed at job sites.
