Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Jonesville, SC is seeking a Production Planning Supervisor to lead plant supply chain activities and drive materials management to meet schedules and customer requirements.

You will optimize inventory, collaborate with procurement, and guide the planning team through master production scheduling, CTB processes, and annual inventory activities, with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of experience in production planning, master scheduling or other Supply Chain related areas within a manufacturing environment.
• Five (5) years of experience in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or scheduling modules
• Two (2) years of experience in a leadership role
• Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Jonesville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate purchasing needs, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous process improvements to optimize inventory levels, customer delivery requirements, and operational efficiency.
• Engage the production plan of the various materials, parts and subassemblies required by the plant. Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to mitigate material shortages
• Maintain and coordinate activities to ensure vital plant metrics, including but not limited to; customer on-time delivery, backlog, days on hand inventory and past due workorders/schedules
• Lead production planning team in executing the master production schedule and related supply chain activities, including CTB process and a weekly production plan
• Lead annual physical inventory activities to ensure a successful and accurate inventory audit
• Train and educate the planning team on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related
