Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Resource Manager for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit. You will optimize staffing, forecast needs, and coordinate onboarding to enable efficient project delivery across a growing data center portfolio.

The role collaborates with Sector Managers, Program Managers, and leadership. A professional architecture or related business degree is required, with 7+ years of experience; Hybrid work is supported across U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) or Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture, operations management, resource management, or a related professional discipline.
• Experience with developing work plans and assigning staff to execute the work.
• Strong proficiency with scheduling, resourcing, and reporting tools (e.g., MS Office/Microsoft 365, resource-management software).
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across a growing team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfort preparing materials for senior leadership audiences.
• Discretion in handling confidential personnel, budget, and client information.

Responsibilities

• Track and report staff resourcing and utilization; maintain the department's resource-allocation system.
• Lead staffing organization efforts; review assignments with leadership.
• Coordinate architectural staffing needs with other departments and units.
• Forecast staffing needs based on project pipeline and workload.
• Identify resource gaps and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare recurring operational reporting for leadership and VP/Director.
• Maintain records of staff information such as location, salary, role, and credentials.
• Support development of proposals for new work and LOE hours.
