Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in resource management, operations, project management, traffic management or workforce planning.
  • Experience ideally within an agency, consultancy, professional services or fast-paced client-service environment.
  • Strong understanding of utilization, capacity planning, project resourcing and commercial drivers of a people-based business.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities across multiple teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; comfortable managing changing requirements at pace.
  • Strong analytical capability, including producing reports, interpreting data and making practical recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Confidence using resource management, project management or workflow tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of resourcing impacts on profitability, utilization and delivery quality.
  • Sound judgment and prioritization skills.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and ability to handle sensitive allocation conversations diplomatically.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day allocation of staff across client accounts, projects, pitches and internal workstreams.
  • Match people to work based on skills, experience, availability, development needs, client requirements and budget considerations.
  • Maintain visibility of current and upcoming demand, identifying capacity, reallocation or prioritization needs.
  • Support project and account leads in planning resourcing for new work, scope changes and urgent requests.
  • Coordinate freelance, temporary or project-based support.
  • Develop and maintain capacity plans, utilization reports and forward-looking resource forecasts.
  • Identify over-utilization, under-utilization, skills gaps and delivery risks, escalating recommendations as appropriate.
  • Partner with finance and operations on profitability, freelance spend and staffing costs.
  • Provide leadership reporting on utilization, availability, demand trends and resourcing risks.
  • Build relationships with senior leadership, team leads, account leads, project managers, HR and finance.
  • Facilitate resourcing meetings, resolve conflicts and agree allocation decisions.
  • Act as a neutral partner balancing competing team and client demands.
  • Communicate resourcing decisions with commercial and operational rationale.
  • Own and maintain resource management tools, trackers and processes.
  • Improve visibility of skills, availability, workload and project demand.
  • Recommend improvements to resourcing processes, meeting rhythms, reporting and governance.
  • Participate in initiatives supporting Infinite's vision and values.
