Terracon is seeking a dispatch specialist to determine the safest, most efficient way to send employees and equipment to project sites. You will manage incoming service requests, assign staff with the right skills, and coordinate with field units to balance workloads.

The role requires strong time management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in scheduling tools. A valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to use technology (mobile apps, email, scheduling software).
• Time management skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal interaction skills.
• Multilingual preferred in some markets.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Determine the safest, most efficient dispatch of employees/equipment to project sites.
• Receive and manage service requests to dispatch trained staff.
• Manage logistics and balance workload across resources.
• Coordinate between field units and offices to optimize schedules.
• Maintain communication with customers, employees, and leaders.
• Use scheduling tools to distribute staff and resources effectively.
• Maintain safety standards and report issues to management.
• Perform other office duties and meet deadlines as needed.
• Coordinate with regional offices to cover projects.
