Job summary

Communities in Schools of Chesterfield is seeking a Development and Communications Coordinator to advance our fund development, marketing campaigns, and donor cultivation efforts. You will work with the Director of Development & Communications to implement our annual plan and raise awareness in the community.

The role requires strong writing, organizational skills, and experience with donor databases, social media, newsletters, and website content.

Qualifications

• Establish and maintain relationships with donors, community reps, schools, students, families, and the public.
• Proficiency in Microsoft & Google apps; donor databases such as Network For Good; Canva; Wordpress.
• Experience with social media campaigns, newsletters, and creative interests.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive annual communications plan.
• Organizes media coverage, archives, and photo library.
• Produces content for social platforms and tracks engagement analytics.
• Designs and sends monthly eNewsletter to stakeholders.
