Job summary

The Sagamore Resort seeks team members to deliver exceptional food and beverage service across our resort dining outlets. Staff must understand menus, specials, and resort offerings, and be prepared to explain and entertain guests while rotating to different locations as needed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, coordinating orders, managing cash, and ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service preferred.
• Ability to explain menu items and specials to guests.
• Strong cash handling and upselling skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side work as assigned.
• Ensure table cleanliness and menu presentation.
• Attend pre-meal meeting on time in full uniform.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu, products and resort offerings.
• Greet and seat guests, present menus and describe specials.
• Handle payments and apply discounts accurately.
• Provide wine knowledge and proper service techniques.
• Coordinate timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate needs during the experience.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables for the next guests.
• Complete closing side work and shift paperwork.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
