Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort is seeking an enthusiastic server to deliver attentive dining experiences in our restaurant. You will set tables, take orders, input food and beverage orders into the resort’s POS, and ensure service standards are met while adhering to liquor laws.

This role requires a friendly, guest-focused attitude, ability to multi-task, and a commitment to responsible alcohol service. Training is provided within 30 days, and the team enjoys dining and golf discounts, medical and other

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality.
• Ability to upsell and answer guest questions about menu items and wine.
• Clear communication and teamwork to coordinate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room and properly set tables.
• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly manner and take orders.
• Input all food/beverage orders in the resort's POS system.
• Adhere to liquor laws and wine recommendations.
• Present checks and process payments following procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with service as needed.
• Upsell menu items and wine to guests.
