Job summary

Rosen Shingle Creek is seeking a Restaurant Cook to prepare, cook, and present high-quality items for restaurant and resort dining. This full-time role emphasizes adherence to recipes, presentation guidelines, and company standards while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and strong guest focus.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a fast-paced kitchen, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support high-volume service and exceptional guest

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar in hospitality.
• Experience cooking in fast-paced hotel/resort environments.
• Knowledge of recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment per regulations.
• Handle, label, and rotate food products to preserve freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist in inventory monitoring and stock control.
