Job summary

Sunriver Resort is seeking a Cook to join our high‑volume culinary team. This role covers cooking for restaurants, amenities, room service, banquets, and catered events, with focus on quality and timing.

You will help maintain Sunriver Resort’s Four Diamond standards, follow safety guidelines, and work with a collaborative team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. A Food Handler’s card and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred.
• Must have valid Food Handler’s card.
• Must have complete understanding of the fundamentals of the culinary operation.
• Must be able to work with and around kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production for Restaurants, banquets, room service and outlets.
• Maintain and complete daily prep lists and tasks.
• Ensure requisitions are processed and properly placed.
• Label and date all products for safekeeping and sanitation.
• Apply basic knife skills for hot and cold foods.
• Produce recipes efficiently and consistently.
• Be a team player.
• Ensure portion control for all food functions, especially high-cost items.
• Work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Follow HACCP guidelines.
• Review assignments with Sous Chef and plan accordingly.
• Close stations and rotate stock, clean prep areas and equipment.
