Rosen Shingle Creek is seeking a Kitchen Staff Bakery II to prepare quality pastry items, desserts, breads, and related offerings in a fast-paced hotel kitchen. The role involves weighing ingredients, decorating items, and ensuring proper storage and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of bakery experience, strong attention to detail, and clear communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and work legally in the USA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year bakery experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs infrequently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, baking, and producing pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts.
• Using scales and measurements to weigh ingredients for doughs and fillings.
• Decorating baked items with pastry bags and garnishes.
• Adjusting mixing times and speeds to follow recipes.
• Keeping track of food supply and placing orders as required.
• Rotating products to minimize spoilage and waste.
• Cleaning, dismantling, and storing all baking equipment and spaces.
• Ensuring proper storage and refrigeration of prepared products.
• Complying with drug-free and nicotine-free policy.
• All other duties as assigned.
