Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of previous cook experience in a similar environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and sanitation issues.
• Must be able to obtain local/state food handling permits and serv safe certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and follow all department operating procedures; complete daily temperature logs and sanitation records.
• Ensure compliance with all food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare food for fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, etc. and portion per recipe guidelines.
• Support prep work for all restaurants and banquet events based on production lists.
• Assist and support buffet and banquet operations; manage prep per forecasted business levels.
• Maintain safe, clean, and sanitary cooking and serving areas; restock as needed.
