Job summary

Sun Outdoors seeks a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across resort facilities and grounds. You will handle lawn care, basic plumbing, and safety inspections, ensuring guest areas remain clean, safe, and inviting.

You will work outdoors across seasons, using hand tools and power equipment, and may assist with site setups. Strong teamwork and the ability to lift 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months in previous maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort is preferred.
• General knowledge of maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal temperatures.
• Basic computer skills including email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and perform maintenance with tools and equipment.
• Complete minor repairs to rental units and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs, plumbing, sewage, and street repair.
• Inspect irrigation, playground, pool/spa areas and other amenities for safety and condition.
• Maintain resort grounds, plantings, and lawn care.
• Ensure resorts are clean, presentable and meet curb appeal standards.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager.
