Job summary

Sun Outdoors is seeking Resort Maintenance Technicians to maintain our resort properties, handling repairs, grounds upkeep, and cleanliness to keep guest and resident areas inviting and safe. You will support site setups for arrivals and departures and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 6 months maintenance experience preferred, ability to lift 50 pounds, basic computer skills, and on-call availability to respond to resort needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience in campground or RV resort preferred.
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Able to work outdoors in seasonal temperatures.
• General knowledge of janitorial, plumbing, and grounds maintenance.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and operate tools and equipment.
• Basic computer skills (email/internet); on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in rental units and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain resort grounds, landscaping, and street cleanliness.
• Clean and maintain resort amenities and common areas.
• Assist Resort Manager with supervision of service contractors.
• Complete site condition checklists before and after guest occupancy.
• Ensure resort streets and public routes are hazard-free.
