Job summary

Island-Hospitality-Management is seeking a Resort Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our Resorts, ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment for guests.

The role requires flexible scheduling, on-call availability, and the ability to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks from landscaping to electrical/plumbing repairs. Join a diverse team dedicated to guest satisfaction and property excellence.

Qualifications

• Must complete minor repairs to rental homes and facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor emergency repairs.
• Inspect irrigation system regularly and repair as needed.
• Inspect playgrounds, pool/spa, and amenities for condition.
• Adhere to curb appeal standards.
• Perform lawn care including weed control and trimming.
• Ensure common areas are clean and trash removed daily.
• Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
• Respond to resort needs during non-business hours; on-call.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resort Manager with supervising service contractors.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Ensure resort streets and access routes are hazard-free.
• Maintain pool chemical levels.
• Complete checklists of site conditions before/after occupancy.
• Remove snow and winter maintenance where applicable.
